  1. While I might have intially thought that Cyril was right, he is also way, way off base. But then again Denial is not just a river in Egypt.

  2. Wow, Cyril, is that your gay pose in the last panel?

    1. Let’s not forget the way he held Adam’s hand when he welcomed Adam into his house. I think his effeminate way just adds to his creepiness. Sorry to be homophobic. I don’t like it but it’s who I am.

      1. Hey, I’m a gay lady, I see nothing wrong with the occasional effeminate man. But Cyril is a creep on ANYBODY’S radar. I do agree that in his case, the effeminate actions make him substantially creepier, especially considering he isn’t attracted to men. I just thought his pose was exceptionally funny in that panel. I mean. I realize he’s being a pompous ass but he looks just silly doing it.

  3. I don’t really think that Adam is into the fetish as much… no more than a man who is excited about his partners pregnancy is a fetishist when his kisses her belly and talks to the baby. Adam has always been in love with Cait, and has always looked at her like that. It’s just an unfortunate occurrence that Cyril showed up when the baby bumps did.

    1. Bingo! That I think is where Adam is having an issue with in himself as to whether or not he loves Cait or if he is attracted to her because of the Bump. It does not help the poor boy that Cyril is showing him a whole community of Pregnancy Fetish types. So now he probably feels dirty about the whole thing.

      1. It was implied early on in the comic story that Adam always felt some sort of mild fetish for pregnant women. However, he doesn’t feel it heavily like many others do. So he can easily “turn it off” to a certain degree and just focus on the more important things, like getting to know the person.

sorta like how Some people have a mild, light bondage kink where they might get off on being tied up with silk scarves or anything else that they can escape from easily, or can opt out of at the last minute should it get too “heavy” for them. They just want the illusion of being tied up without actually being tied up.

Those same people are the ones who might find the idea of heavy S&M completely repulsive. Because the whole leather straps and being whipped bit gets to be too much for them. It makes the whole “tied up and being helpless” bit way too real for them.

Adam is the lighter side of the fetish, while Cyril takes it to extremes. And it’s very possible for both sides of the same coin to be completely repelled by the other.
        if that makes sense.

        1. I like the way you think Miss Moon, a good explanation. 🙂

  4. I hate to be “this guy” but Cyril’s last sentence is accusing Adam of NOT being turned on by pregnancy. It should just read “you going to deny you’re turned on by it?”

    1. Cyril Just fails at villain banter.

  5. He… really doesn’t understand that what he’s been doing is wrong, does he? And he thinks everyone is as bad as him…

    1. These last few pages seem to demonstrate that Cyril is a psychopath. No it doesn’t mean he is or will kill people. It just means Cyril thinks society’s morals and ethics don’t apply to him.
