Cat’s seemingly taking this a little more personally then usual.
Cat’s logic here is a little nuts. She’s gonna fight him because he won’t stay and help? Is that gonna convince him to stay?
It isn’t logic. It’s emotion.
It’s still childish. Like she wants to fight him just for wanting to leave and not fight after suffering for a couple thousand years.
I think both Cat’s and Prometheus’ motives can be given understanding and respect here.
The big guy had spoken for himself and I think we both can relate to his reasons for being done with the whole thing.
When you add up Cat’s youth, pregnancy, temperament, and Prometheus hitting her abandonment button, her reaction makes sense even if it is irrational.
People are like this.
