I think it’s more they fear their pregnancy will attract unwanted dangers into the school, they already had an vampire made of flying organs effortlessly infiltrate the school, and the ONLY reason Typhon didn’t attack them at the school was so he could maximize his terrain advantage and null out Kasumi’s powers.
Sooner or later some monsters just going to barrel in like a bull in a china shop, and will likely be part bull or something.
