Question: How long *does* it take to gestate a god/goddess? With this much myth and magic being thrown around, clearly the natural progression means nothing. Nine months? Nine years? More, less, something in-between?

Lots of creatures escaped it because the power of the god in charge of it weakenned. The girls ran into a lot of them when they met Prometheus.
