Ok I think I know what Taryn did:
She mixed her emotion juices with other strong odor’s like Garlic to make it more potent without needing to make a lot of the stuff, fear or otherwise.
Plus the smell of something strong yet unexpected will throw off the target as they….’ingest’? ‘Wiff?’…smell the weird smell and taking the feeling power in without realizing until it’s to late.
