To be fair, the old “mother’s father” concept for alopecia androgenetica seems to be partially true. It’s more likely in males than females due to the XY (vs XX) chromosomes, but research does show baldness is inherited from both parents.

In short, Adam is more likely than not to develop some sort of baldness, but its not a sure bet.
