In reply to Del. IIRC, Loki is an adult (at least in spirit) and the same entity as the old world Loki. The Greek kids are actual offspring of the originals and not the same being (aka, Son of Zeus, not Actually Zeus)

In reply to Del. Might have something to do with the fact that A) Loki is a Norse god, while Zeus, Ares, etc. are Greek gods, and B) Loki is the trickster god, his magic/powers and his tricks are probably far more suited to the situation.

You know, I get that the green boxes are supposed to be Loki.
