Honestly, his actions there are so far the most relatable/realistic… for the not so tough & brave. Start off wanting go protect/save someone u care about, then, when u see the threat’s a shit-ur-pants scary monster…

The most interesting thing about Taryn’s speech is that she just states it. She doesn’t yell it at Cyril. No exclamation points. With luck this is where Cyril’s Dunning-Kruger Effect gets punctured and he starts to mature.

This is where Adam made the cut. Despite having no powers, Adam didn’t run away facing scary stuff and helped where he could. I’m surprise he hasn’t collected more cuts and bruises than he has.

I don’t know what’s worse, the fact she nailed his actions on the head and he STILL one-upped on how bad it really was {IE, literally running all the way home}
Or the fact he didn’t seem to even respond to the fact Taryn clearly got hurt real bad on her shoulder.
