i think she’s only now finding issue with it due to knowing about how much he likes it. the fact that he never made it awkward if he could help it and was scared to tell her about it because (as proven by how she’s acting) he knew she would think less of him says a lot ; – ;

Now however, she’s the one being weird about things like the manga or him eating at her place.
