Either way, excellent job of conveying menace. I’m like 90% sure Taryn will get out of this somehow, baby intact, but I’m not sure how either. Losing the baby permanently just seems too dark for this comic.

If she ends up losing her god-baby to this thing without herself getting hurt too badly (because I don’t know, magic?) though, that would be an interesting twist.
