I too actually hoped he’d help, but Cyril is the embodiment of the “nice” guy. All fluff and no substance. Adam, on the other hand, has proved in the past that he’d be willing and able to charge into that fight even if it outmatched him. Even though it’s Taryn and not Caitlyn, he’d still do it.

Honestly, I thought Cyril was going to make a valiant attempt and get his ass handed to him. Then the group would grudgingly accept that he’s not some kind of a super-villain, regardless of how annoying he is, or his total lack of respect when it comes to their privacy. =P

But on the other hand.. I think I’m kind of glad that Cyril reacted this way. Though, I’m sure he’ll try to play it off like he helped anyway, because technically nobody but Ms. Flying Intestines Monster actually saw how he reacted.
