Coyote and Raven are both Trickster gods, but from different tribes, and both are responsible for putting the sun and moon in the sky.

Except when Raven did it, his plan involved the owner of the Sun and Moons Daughter. He turned himself into a tree needle while she was taking a drink of water and got himself swallowed. She then wound up pregnant with Raven, and after being born again, Baby Raven ganked the sun and moon.
