While I can understand and even relate to what Taryn is trying to do. I am afraid I would side with the coach on this one. Even if the belly is a fake it is a distraction on the floor as the other players cannot play effectively. Consider it psychological warfare at it’s finest.

heheh. you know, during this story I actually goggled the question of whenever it was possible to for a fake pregnancy belly to look completely realistic.

Turns out, there’s realistic-looking pregnant bellies out that looks real even if you expose the belly part. it’s like a body suit that was sculpted with this latex-like substance to simulate the look of skin and made from an life cast of an actual pregnant woman.
so even if you wear an small shirt that exposes the belly, you look like you’re actually pregnant… and chances are that people won’t believe you if you say it’s fake. lol
However, those pregnant body suits that looks uber-realistic is usually used only for movies, like the “15 and pregnant” movie. it was mentioned in the behind the scenes segment of how they made it look so real.

Yup, they do exist.

So it got me thinking… it would be kind of funny if this whole scene made the news, and so pan had some magic Taryn body double thing coming on the News to get interviewed alongside with the black girl about this “public outrage” that the basketball game created… and then have her rip the fake yet super realistic belly off and say “See? it was fake.. it was just for a teen pregnancy awareness thing. What’s the big F**king deal?”
And then have the black girl be like “WTF?? You totally tricked us!” and get pissed off enough to start a physical fight with the Taryn duplicate on National TV Jerry springer style.

I would LOL so hard if that actually happened. in fact I kind of want it to happen. but I know it won’t be likely. 😛

All I know is, Pan has his work cut out for him to stop this from going on national TV…. which I feel it will do.
