Even if this were all fake, wouldn’t part of her “responsibility” in the Teen Awareness program involve being a responsible mother, ergo, doing what is best for the baby? Which, of course, wouldn’t be basketball.. And furthermore, wouldn’t the program, if real, want to emphasize what certain choices do to change a teens life? This including the inability to do a lot of things they enjoy…. I’ll bet someone’s gonna bring this up in the comic. At least, that would be the logical approach.
