I’m actually curious if the wives or lady gods would get involved somehow, surely they’d have their own contingency plan just so the ‘next generation’ is not only remembered for the males.

Yeah, generally speaking if you’re not a child of Zeus (or carrying his child) things work out relatively well for you.

Mind you, all the Greek Gods have had their moments for various reasons, even the “good” ones like Athena. The only one you’re probably safe with is Hades, provided you’re not trying to raise the dead.
