This Loki seems to like to lie with the truth. One always needs to want to ask what he isn’t saying. Was Loki going to simply wait patiently inside Myria and do her bidding? Loki? No. How did he pervert the spirit of the deal?
I think everyone’s missing the fact that Loki may-or-may-not be the reason Frost is mega-buff, and Myria had magical skills.
It’s possible he’s telling the truth…only missing the detail that he was USING them, but they got wise and tried to use him, only for it to turn into the mess of evil plans we’ve seen in the series so far, which is why Loki wants to jump-womb-ship.
