You don’t NEED to know Spanish to know what Mom is saying to Adam…and punctuating with the more than occasional slap.
Mom’s not dumb or blind and Adam and Cait had no shortage of opportunity. Both their parents have been away for long stretches and no doubt at the same time. Be interesting to see how Adam talks his way out of this one. Mom may not buy the “teen pregnancy awareness” thing or may be forward enough to poke Cait once or twice if she’s supsicious.
You guys just love making Caitlin miserable don’t you? Pity poor Caitlin. She’s a great Woobie.
Thank god for comment threads for South African readers who only know a few words of Spanish by virtue of watching Handy Manny with 4-year-old nephews… <3
actually, it’s not just the spelling. Reading that as it’s written doesn’t make sense either. Looks like someone who’s got only a few years of high-school spanish lessons background. 😉 Kinda surprising if the mother is supposed to be a latin-american.
Oh, and I’m more than willing to take my own medicine. I know my english is far from perfect , too. XD
Wow Adán se atornilla ¿no?
Heh, I was kinda right. A “What did you do to that girl?” lecture, but mixed with a “I’ll hit it out of you!”…
Didn’t see the Spanish coming, though. Got me there 😛

“You guys just love making Caitlin miserable don’t you?”
You have NO idea…
What is she saying in the first bubble? I was able to translate the second one. Which I found amusing hehe
Try Urban Dictionary for the words that you can’t get a translation for in things like babel fish.
“Who in (the) hell insisted?” “Me not mind! You believe I am a fool?” Rough translation but I believe that is what she is saying. 😛
It’s more “What the hell did you do? Don’t lie to me. What do you think, I’m stupid?” for both the bubbles.
Half Mexican ftw.
ow ow the bad spanish huts me… but its funny to read at the same time XD

Just a note about the translations:
– “Que en carajo tu isiste?” should be “¿Qué carajo tú hiciste?” and means “What the hell did you do?”
– “No me mientes!, tu creer, que soy boba?” should be “¡No me mientas!, ¿tú crees que soy boba?” and means “Don’t lie to me! Do you think I’m stupid?”
Our native Spanish Speaker is apparently not a very good Spanish speller.
