Not that it’s a great option, but if they wanted to send Loki to Tartarus, all they’d have to do is find a third party to take Loki, grab him, and off he goes. Of course, I think the whole point of this arc is that Loki /isn’t/ an easy problem to deal with. He picked Dani not only because she’s the kindest, but because she’s the best candidate for keeping the Furies off his back.
On the one hand, even if they KNEW of a way to properly transfer him to another host, there’s no telling how long until he starts puppeting the host just as he did for Myria.
But on the other hand, if anyone has a better chance of keeping the literal god of mischief under control, it’s one of the O.D. gals.
