apparently she forgot the part about it being supposed to to be a “fake pregnancy” for some teen awareness thing. by admitting it, she’s basically destroying what pan worked so hard for.
still, I suppose it does show Taryn the reality that not everything can always go your way, espeically when you’re an pregnant teenage girl.
even if you want to be treated the same, people tend to treat you differently for better or worse when you’re pregnant regardless of your age.
Yeah! I’m fine playing while pregnant, and it’s a magic baby anyway, so you probably can’t hurt it anyway! Um, I mean… it’s part of this teen pregnancy awareness thing… and it’s… fake. Yeah, that’s what I meant: fake.
She’s going to get hit by a bit bite of reality. Even if this were all fake, wouldn’t part of her “responsibility” in the Teen Awareness program involve being a responsible mother, ergo, doing what is best for the baby? Which, of course, wouldn’t be basketball.. And furthermore, wouldn’t the program, if real, want to emphasize what certain choices do to change a teens life? This including the inability to do a lot of things they enjoy…. I’ll bet someone’s gonna bring this up in the comic. At least, that would be the logical approach.

Hopefully she’ll also learn that her powers aren’t a free ticket to do whatever she wants.
Come on magic powers. I am soooo abusing that.
I would only abuse my magic powers in all the right ways rather than all the wrong ways. 😉
I don’t think using anything and using the term ‘abusing it’ can be ever used ‘the right way’. lol
There’s a life lesson in here somewhere, this and the black basketball player is really cute for some reason.
Damn that Paradox (oooppsss…not playing Mage the Ascension from White Wolf). Yea, sucks when reality imposes it’s own standards.

I do feel bad for Taryn, though.

The cover really is quite flimsy. Pan had other things on his mind. Like strip clubs.
what’s the big deal? Cat goes around beating people up, and she’s preggers w/ magic powers, too.
well it had to bite her in the ass sometime.
